Since its formation at the end of 2015, ONE has identified transformational opportunities for the region’s economy and developed these into funded projects in delivery. ONE worked with industry, the public sector, universities and research institutes, and government to achieve this.

ONE Tech Hub – ONE Tech Hub is the home for ambitious digital tech start-ups and scaling businesses to grow and thrive in an innovative and collaborative environment.

ONE BioHub – The innovative space accelerating research commercialisation and boosting the entrepreneurial ecosystem in north east Scotland. Life sciences businesses co-locate and grow with a thriving peer group of researchers, innovators and entrepreneurs to translate world-leading science to the marketplace.

ONE SeedPod – The new industry innovation hub created to grow the food and drink manufacturing sector.

Seafood Transformation Project – an action and investment plan for new processing capacity, more value-adding activity, and international market development with new factories and advanced manufacturing delivering productivity and environmental gains and increasing the value and number of jobs in coastal communities.

North East Adventure Tourism – a project with a clear vision to transform the region into a world-class destination for adventure tourism by facilitating the development of high quality, sustainable facilities and low carbon infrastructure.

Gourmet Food Festival – developing a place-based food and drink festival to showcase the region's world-class produce from land and sea to UK and international audiences, attract high-value visitors, inspire young people to work in the sector, and encourage consumers to buy sustainable, locally-sourced produce.

Best-in-class Hospitality – making the region a leader in hospitality skills development, training and leadership, attracting the brightest and best talent into the sector to create world-class visitor experiences and grow the visitor economy.
