Leading co-investment in growth
The life sciences sector in north east Scotland has a clear vision for its future.
Aberdeen will be a global location for innovation, collaboration and commercialisation. Companies in the region will develop drugs, diagnostics, therapies and tech to combat disease and build a robust health economy.
We help researchers to translate their work into commercial applications, people to turn ideas into business propositions, and businesses to accelerate their growth. Achieving this requires an environment that inspires and supports collaboration, commercialisation and scale up to improve the viability of early-stage enterprises and accelerate the growth of the ambitious established businesses.
Opportunity North East (ONE) is leading action and investment to achieve this vision, working with the region's life sciences community and strategic partners in the University of Aberdeen, Robert Gordon University, NHS, Scottish Enterprise, Life Sciences Scotland Industry Leadership Group, Scottish Government and UK Government.
We continue to grow new and existing partnerships to secure match funding for projects, delivery resources, and build the capabilities and national role of BioHub as a driver of life sciences collaboration, innovation and commercialisation.
