The rapid evolution of consumer behaviour, customer demands and markets creates opportunities for Scotland’s food and drink producers to develop innovative, on-trend and premium products for domestic and international markets.
The key for businesses is to get access to the most relevant market intelligence and consumer insights and turn these into new products that consumers want to buy.
This North East Scotland Food & Drink Network event will explore these themes in detail and introduce an innovative pilot programme to apply leading-edge insights and foresighting to new product development, which will be delivered by Opportunity North East working in partnership with Scotland Food & Drink.
The interactive session will provide information on the support available to businesses, including via the Knowledge Bank, which is part of the Scotland Food & Drink Partnership recovery plan, and SeedPod. It will include a business case study and opportunities to ask the speakers questions.
The speakers will include:
Andrew Niven, Strategic Market Intelligence Manager, Scotland Food & Drink
Neil Freckingham, Director, ONE Food Hub
Amanda Brown, Project Director, The Knowledge Bank
Rick Allison, Category Insights Manager, Joseph Robertson Ltd
Jane MacLeod, Business Growth Manager, ONE Food, Drink & Agriculture
