Accelerating Clinical Translation

ONE Life Sciences Network will be joined by Dr Lorna Fitzpatrick, Lead Scientist at Medicines Discovery Catapult (MDC). With a background in molecular biology and genetic engineering, Lorna’s work at MDC focuses on developing disease pathway models and helping life science companies generate preclinical development roadmaps. Lorna will be joined by Dr Graeme Wilkinson, Head of Virtual R&D. A pharmacologist by training, and with over 25 years of experience in the industry, Graeme has a track record of successfully leading drug discovery and capability enhancement projects in large pharma and start-ups across many disease areas.

The Medicines Discovery Catapult is the United Kingdom's catapult centre for medicine research and innovation, headquartered at Alderley Park in Cheshire. MDC focuses on supporting life science companies to transform promising science into new treatments, providing access to innovative technologies, and accelerating the discovery and development of new medicines.
