The ONE Business Growth Accelerator aims to accelerate the growth of high potential, scalable digital tech businesses in north east Scotland. The programme builds on the success of previous activity with a focus on founder education and strategic support to develop and implement a bespoke growth strategy and build the capacity and resources to deliver and effectively manage significant, fast paced growth.
Who is it for?
Founders of early-stage digital tech scale ups - typically businesses with more than three FT employees, revenue generating, focused on fast paced growth and looking to develop a strategy to support their ambition and build their understanding of funding for growth.
The business should have achieved good product market fit in at least one key sector with a disruptive technology or product and be looking to identify and grow around new market/product/service opportunities.
Founder(s) will have a growth mindset and be committed and ready to embrace a bespoke learning experience focused on the specific challenges and opportunities faced by founders in north east Scotland.
What is it?
A cohort-based programme combines upfront intensive entrepreneurial education, based on the internationally renowned Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) Disciplined 24 steps framework and Entrepreneurship Development Program (EDP), combined with tailored support and regular check-ins to ensure founders are fully equipped with the knowledge, tools and clarity to support their growth journey.
A combination of workshops, one to ones, and mentoring provides founders with a toolkit to develop their business model, value proposition and growth strategy and plan to drive business growth in new and existing markets and geographies.
• Phase 1: upfront, cohort based, capability building and education to equip founders with the skills, knowledge and a toolkit to achieve rapid growth, delivered by subject matter experts.
• Phase 2: customised content around individual growth strategy through the selection of bespoke capability modules delivered on a one to company basis.
Content includes entrepreneurial education, finance for growth, investor readiness, brand/messaging, sales and leadership.
Participants benefit from peer to peer learning and become part of a supportive, like minded and growing community of founder alumni.

The package of support is estimated to be valued at in excess of £15k, the programme will require a contribution of £1,000 per business towards costs.
